This haiga is from a notebook. 2012, I think. Hotter lately. We’ve been having 45°C. That’s 113°F! Too damn hot. At least the ants have made themselves scarce. Except jumping ants seem worse this year. They are aggressive and have a nasty bite but at least they don’t come into the house. I’ve been bitten on the bum twice this season while I was gardening. They got up my trousers. No decency.

In this haiga you can see part of out water saving system. On the other end of the hose is a submersible fish tank pump in the bath. Soapy water and a bit manky after a couple of months, so I have to scrub the cistern. We are only on rainwater and summer here is dry as well as hot. Still shouldn’t complain; there are places not so far away that are over 50°Celsius. It’s beginning to scare me, the climate.
