For those of you not on Facebook, an update. We have foundations!

We even have frames!

I hit rock bottom about a week before the foundations. I found that I couldn’t teach a workshop that I was booked for. I just did not have the space in my brain, or the energy to write the learning materials. So I pulled the plug.

The relief was enormous and everyone understood. Later one of the participants said, ‘Thank you for reminding us that it is right to look after ourselves first, when we need to.’ Well, thank you for being so kind, but in reality I had no choice, I would have wept all over everyone, and no one would have learned anything. But what she said is true and I hope many of us are realising it.
Then we got the foundations and like a metaphor, I suddenly felt grounded.
I can tell you it has been a year from hell but also an incredibly rich experience. My faith in humanity is restored. People are rich in empathy. The human race is made up of individuals and most have good hearts, even though our culture, lately, doesn’t foster a sense of community, it is still there.
And the earth is doing spring all over the show.

Hi Belinda,
Encouraging to see progress, although you are still living in no man’s land. I’m sorry you had to drop a workshop if only for the richness that you would be offering the participants…I would have loved to have had a video link to that 😘
The unseen processes are usually the quietest and I longest..let’s hope it will be up and ready now the framework has appeared
Love to you and Ervin x

Thanks Good Heart. I will consider the idea of video. Just as soon as I get a brain. Lol.
If one can’t, one can’t. Good for you. I can’t believe the green all over the place.
The earth’s recovery is quite amazing in many places. Slower where it burnt really hot on the top of ridges. In the fields there are a lot of weeds. Most of them ok because at least they hold the soil, but a few noxious ones too. Our place is small luckily so ican manage them, but I feel for the larger places, a lot of whom lost their equipment also.
Such trauma: the land, the animals, the people … oye! Rest as often as is necessary. There’s no easy bouncing back from this.
Lovely to see your new beginnings starting to emerge. The world goes on in cycles, and we are forced to melt into them. Such a difficult process, but, as you say, rich (in hindsight). Love to you both.
And love to you Ganga.
This is great news, things are moving along well!
In by Christmas, our builder hopes!
